Vintage glam with futuristic spin – Sarah Jessica Parker wears custom eyewear piece by MYKITA STUDIO in the season finale of “And Just Like That...”
INSPIRATION
The costume designer for TV series “And Just Like That...” reached out to Berlin eyewear brand MYKITA with a customized request for the show’s central character “Carrie” played by NYC fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker. Working from a creative brief referencing 1920s Hollywood glam, the MYKITA design team created the STUDIO 12.5 – a striking, contemporary interpretation of the aviator shape. Featuring a curved silhouette with a distinctive brow bar and nose bridge detailing, this expansive sunshield offers ample coverage with lightweight wearing comfort.
COLLECTION
The STUDIO 12.5 edition is available in three colorways, each with a distinctive identity: Bright Clover with Dark Blue Gradient lens shield worn by Carrie on the show, Champagne Gold with Mirror Lilac lens shield and Black with Dark Grey Solid lens shield. Handcrafted from lightweight stainless steel at the MYKITA HAUS in Berlin.
