BLACKFIN ONE > Spring/Summer 2024 Collection
Blackfin introduces the new styles in its Spring/Summer 2024 collection by Blackfin One, the line that encompasses the essence of the brand from which everything originated. Through its twin spirits, Blackfin One conveys the perfect balance between creative design and timeless style. On one hand, the collection is known for its alluring design, bold hues and color combinations that showcase the technical and artistic expertise of those who have been working with titanium for more than 30 years. On the other, classic shapes and flawless fit attest to the Italian company’s obsessive attention to detail and its artisan virtuosity.
Like alchemy, Blackfin One’s creative division blends experimentation and art. Styles like Orkney, a reinterpretation of the aviator with a high bridge, and Haro, a softly contoured hexagonal, are flagrantly eye-catching, thanks to their audacious palette of bold neon colors.
Fiji, Samoa and Palau are the peak manifestation of the new concept in design and color – styles in which the extraordinary Blackfin expertise is fully expressed. Thanks to innovative bilayer processing of a single sheet of titanium, the front is given a unique geometric camouflage effect, highlighted by contrasting colors.
Among the most classic men’s frames are Skagen and Lofoten, two styles with thin, balanced profiles embellished with hints of color, like red, blue or green, paired with more muted hues. Nantucket’s ample front is softened by a curve above the nosepiece, while Lewis, a panto with intermediate-gauge frame, is known for its range of bright colors, including a unique dark blue antiqued effect.
The women’s Magdalen and Sitka styles revel in geometric shapes softened by a curved nosepiece; the palette of gradient colors lends them a more elegant, sophisticated air.
The Blackfin One collection is the product of extraordinary diligence by the R&D team, tasked with the study of color to obtain chromatic results heretofore unthinkable in titanium – gradient, metalized, matte or antiqued, even multicolor, to accentuate the graphic aspect of the frames.
All Blackfin frames are made in-house in Italy at the Black Shelter, the company’s CasaClima Work&Life certified sustainable headquarters, based on neomadeinitaly values.
