Villa Eyewear is currently seeking sales professionals in multiple territories throughout the US to represent our portfolio of luxury independent eyewear collections, including Blackfin, L.G.R, Look, Mad in Italy, and UNIQUEDESIGNMILANO (UDM).

We are seeking experienced sales professionals with existing relationships in the independent optical market. Independent sales representatives will be responsible for prospecting, growing market demand, and exposure with high-end optical retailers, as well as servicing existing accounts. This requires prior experience, success and familiarity within a given territory, and strong prospecting skills with a focus on brand-building. Villa Eyewear offers competitive compensation packages geared towards healthy growth plans.

EXPECTATIONS

  • Work and travel independently by car – with back-office support.

  • Conduct extensive market research, prospect, and build appropriate target lists.

  • Maintain, support, and grow existing account base.

  • Provide excellent customer service.

  • Support new and current accounts with training to increase success and sell-through.

  • Assist in marketing efforts, including trunk shows and local/national trade shows.

  • Attend in-person and remote company sales meetings or presentations.

  • Assist clients with product merchandising, refreshing POP, and managing inventory.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, annual sales goals and new account targets.

  • Read and analyze financial/sales reports.

  • Give brand presentations and training sessions.

  • Leverage social media and other digital tools to increase awareness and connect with prospect.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior success in direct outside sales in the optical market.

  • Prior in-store experience as an optician or optical manager is a plus.

  • High energy with a positive mindset, and ability to endure rejection.

  • Great customer service skills.

  • Strong familiarity with a given geographical territory and the account base.

  • Strong familiarity with the luxury eyewear market and understanding of the competitive landscape.

  • Strong interpersonal relationship building skills, sound problem solving abilities, and business development skills.

  • Excellent communication, verbal and written.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general proficiency with computers and mobile devices.
