Sospiri’s Ultra-limited Edition “Pax” is for Peace
Known for its artisanal, limited production approach, Ottica Veneta’s Sospiri® brand has released a 50-piece special edition sunglass for 2024, first previewed at Vision Expo East.
Model “Pax”, a translation of peace, is available in just one classic color, black. Emblazoned on a modified, modern butterfly shape, Pax’s décor features a dramatic embellishment of 884 Swarovksi® brand crystals weaved in a complex web of twelve varying shapes and sizes, each expertly inserted into Italian Mazzuchelli acetate by hand.
While Sospiri has created multiple limited-edition models throughout Ottica Veneta’s 20+ year history, Pax represents a true collector’s piece and is the first in a new annual tradition of one special edition model in one color only. Collector’s pieces are dedicated to the most loyal of Sospiri clients and followers.
Alongside Pax, Sospiri released an additional three new sunglass models and five new optical models this season: Lyra, Adrianna, Zora, Amadea, Dalia, Evelina, Lucilla and Rosa.
