BLACKFIN > Pacific - Spring/Summer 2024

The Blackfin Spring/Summer 2024 collection is all about color, art and the production techniques utilized in its eyewear families. A theme that, in Blackfin Pacific, is found in the ultra-thin thicknesses and soft lines of the frames, where the company’s expertise adds value to its design products.

Four new Pacific styles perpetuate the line’s creative concept – the minimalist Nordic design and sophisticated style of America’s West Coast are interpreted in an authentic made-in-Italy product. As always, titanium is the common denominator throughout the entire collection. Here, a distillation of technology and artisan craftsmanship transforms a solid 3mm block of titanium into ultra-light but super-strong frames.

The four medium-gauge frames have thin profiles highlighted by polished, antiqued or matte colors that exemplify consummate artisan mastery in the surface treatment of the material. Mavericks is a double-bridge style with slightly flattened teardrop lenses whose modern good looks stem from color options ranging from bright red to military green, polished gold and black/silver. This frame is also available with sun and cocktail lenses for an added touch of glamour.

Unisex appeal is shared by both Pasadena, a rounded panto, and the intellectual Tahoe, a small oval frame with low bridge. Both come in a wide array of colors, from navy blue to bright red with temples in silver, antiqued or polished gold, black or polished silver. Also available in a version with cocktail lenses. Lastly, Joshua, a timeless rectangular frame updated with vivacious colors – bright red, electric blue and military green as well as matte black and antiqued grey.

Blackfin Pacifics are ultra-lightweight and strong, have no welds, except on the nose pads, and are crafted of extremely flexible titanium for excellent adaptability and fit, including Asian fit. In addition, they are equipped with patented Swordfish temple tips that provide quick, easy adjustment of the temples to ensure perfect wearability on all faces.

All Blackfin frames are made at the company’s Black Shelter, its CasaClima Work&Life-certified sustainable headquarters, based on neomadeinitaly values.
